With 10+ years of experience, I specialize in senior pet care, anxious animals, special-needs pets, and animals with past trauma who require gentle handling. I am fully insured through Pet Care Insurance (PCI) and have completed specialized training in Animal Behavior & Psychology and Pet First Aid & CPR. I offer professional dog walking services that combine exercise and exploration. My understanding of canine behavior ensures each dog enjoys a walk that’s both stimulating and comforting. Walking dogs is a passion of mine, and I take pride in keeping them active, happy, and well-behaved during every outing. I also have extensive experience providing care for cats, with a particular focus on anxious cats and cats requiring comfort-focused or end-of-life support. I understand that cats are highly sensitive to changes in routine and environment, and I prioritize calm, predictable care that allows them to feel safe and respected. I am comfortable administering oral and topical medications as directed, monitoring eating and drinking habits, assisting with vet visits, and providing calm care for pets experiencing pain, anxiety, or age-related challenges. I build trusting relationships with pets by following established routines, paying close attention to body language, and adapting care to each animal’s needs. I value clear, consistent communication with pet parents and always provide thoughtful updates to ensure peace of mind while they’re away.

A typical day

I provide a luxury boutique pet care experience for dogs and cats, in a loving home environment where every animal is treated like family. I live in a clean and quiet ground level apartment, 2 minutes from a 67 acre park. I have a crate, bed, food / water bowl, training pads, and toys to ensure your pet's stay is comfortable, personalized, and safe. My home is designed to be a peaceful “home away from home." One of my favorite things to do with pets is tailor activities to their individual personality, energy level, and needs. For dogs, I love incorporating enrichment-based sniff walks that allow them to explore their environment, engage their senses, and build confidence. I also enjoy providing plenty of play, affection, and mental stimulation throughout the day. Health and wellness are important parts of my approach to pet care. With family approval, I may offer healthy treats and positive reinforcement to encourage engagement and reward good behavior. I also enjoy practicing light training and reinforcing basic skills such as polite leash walking, focus, recall, and good manners through fun, reward-based interactions. For cats, I enjoy interactive play, enrichment activities, and creating calm, comfortable environments where they can feel safe and relaxed. My goal is always to help pets stay physically active, mentally stimulated, and emotionally fulfilled while their families are away.
