Animals have been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. I have over 20 years of hands-on experience caring for my own pets and animals through family and friends, along with more than 10 years of paid professional pet care experience. I've worked with a wide variety of animals, from fish, hermit crabs, birds, reptiles, and small pets to cats, dogs of all breeds and sizes, and even farm animals. Whether I'm caring for a playful puppy or kitten, providing gentle support to a senior pet, or following a detailed care routine, I treat every animal as if they were my own. I am experienced in administering oral and topical medications, recognizing and understanding canine behavior, and have experience with basic dog training and positive reinforcement techniques. I also have training in pet first aid and know how to respond calmly and appropriately if an emergency arises. Above all, I believe every pet deserves patience, compassion, and individualized care. My goal is to give every owner peace of mind by providing safe, dependable, and loving care tailored to their pet's unique needs.

Before a booking, I like to learn as much as I can about your pet so I can provide care that feels familiar and stress-free. Helpful information includes: • Your pet's daily routine, including feeding schedule, potty routine, and exercise needs. • Their personality, likes and dislikes, and any fears or triggers (such as thunderstorms, fireworks, strangers, or other animals). • Any medical conditions, allergies, medications, or mobility concerns. • Favorite toys, treats, games, or activities that help them feel comfortable. • Any training cues or commands you regularly use. • Whether your pet has any history of escape attempts, resource guarding, leash reactivity, or anxiety when left alone. • Emergency contact information and your preferred veterinarian. • Any house rules you'd like me to follow while caring for your pet. The more I know ahead of time, the better I can tailor my care to your pet's unique personality and needs, making the experience safe, comfortable, and enjoyable for everyone involved.

A typical day

A typical day of pet care with me is centered around keeping pets comfortable, happy, and maintaining their normal routine. I start by making sure each pet’s individual needs are met, whether that includes meals, fresh water, medication, potty breaks, walks, playtime, or simply providing companionship and attention. During visits and walks, I take the time to get to know each pet’s personality and preferences. Some pets need an energetic play session, while others are happiest with a calm environment and extra affection. I make sure every pet receives personalized care based on their routine and what makes them feel safe. After each visit, walk, or stay, I provide detailed updates so owners know how their pet is doing. My goal is for every pet to feel loved and cared for, and for owners to have peace of mind knowing their furry family member is in good hands.
