Reg like Reggie ~ Happy to help! I have actually received many positive reviews for the sitting I have done up to this point, 4 years professionally and a lifetime of experience too! I have mostly had furred and some feathered pets, and have watched them for people I know in their homes too. I've done lots of official sits the past few years, and have been invited back for repeat sits several times. I'm conscientious and organized etc. by nature, and also have a calm presence that most pets quickly warm up to. I've taken care of indoor, outdoor and indoor/outdoor pets before, and am good with doors and keeping them where they need to be. I've also been recommended for other sits, and have had many others reach out to me for sits. I've also done a few sits without even having to meet the owners, like if they needed to take off or needed me to fill in as a replacement, so that's always an option if it ever comes down to it. I've even obliged when the first pick ahead of me falls through, which is no bother for me and probably ends up for the best anyway! My reviews shown here are just some of the many actual sitting-related reviews I've received over the past few years. ******************** Can't say enough good things about Reg! I was SO nervous leaving my 4mon old kitten for the first time. But I came home to a happy, healthy little baby and I could not be more relieved and grateful for everything Reg has done for us. He is a very professional person and is amazing to have conversation with. he is very responsible and took perfect care of the house too. He sent me updates without me even having to ask. Like videos of him playing, a photo of the kitten sleeping in his bed, etc. And this wasn't an easy sit because this kitten just came flying in from Europe, then spent a few days at a cat shop and then only a week at our place. he wasn't eating properly nd Reg managed to make him actually eat now, without me having to "finger feed". i also loved that I didn't feel like I was being annoying checking in because Reg was already keeping me in the loop. That alone is worth five stars! Reg is also super attentive. He noticed he was scratching at his ear a little more than usual and flagged it for me so I could check with my vet when I got back. He genuinely paid attention to him and cared about how he was doing. Our place was spotless when we got home, litter box was clean, his food and water were all fresh. I would absolutely book him again without hesitation. If you have an any sort of pets and you're scared to leave them this is your guy! 12/10, no notes. ******************** Reg is a life saver. He came in to help our sweet kitty after a previous sitter abandoned the sit on day one of a month long trip. Our kitty is NOT a people person, but he quickly bonded with Reg and this would only be possible if Reg went above and beyond to truly care for him. It was very clear that Reg not only went above and beyond to ensure he was well fed, but also well played and well loved. He sent us routine updates and kept the house clean upon arrival - and we would be honored to have him back again Thanks so much Reg!!! ******************** If I could make Reg my private permanent sitter, I would. With an overseas partner, I travel several times a year for long periods. It’s always a worry leaving my house, garden, pool and cats. Reg is calm, sensible, practical and self sufficient. He copes with small incidents and emergencies, sends photos and communicates well. Thank you for another great sit! ******************** Great sit! Abby and Merlin had a great Housesit. He was a pleasure, and very easy to work with regarding the sit. He arrived on time, was very attentive to my dog, sent me pictures and reports almost every day, and left my home in spotless condition, including clean sheets on the bed...always a relief to fall into bed with clean sheets and a spotless home after a long trip. Thank you, Reg, for a great job! I hope you are available for future sits. ******************** Reg was on time, very organized and took very good care of Evonne, my Belgian Malinois. She is on the timid side and she got along very well with Reg. I would be happy to have him care for Evonne again and from the pictures he sent, I think she would be happy to have him sit for her again. ******************** This was a short, last minute sit and Reg came to the rescue, despite the inconsistencies with my post as I had just moved and the website was not allowing me to make updates. The apartment was as I left it upon my return and the cats were happy. I would happily welcome Reg back to sit again. ******************** Reg is a great communicator, kind, soft spoken. He immediately put me at ease. He took my pup on lots of walks and kept her on a regular schedule. She’s a handful but he was so loving and patient with her. I returned home to an immaculately clean home- better than how I left it. We hope to have him stay at our home in the future. ******************** Reg was wonderful in looking after my Rottweiler and Maine coon for over 3 weeks whilst I was traveling different time zones. He asked great questions, seamlessly cared for Eddie and Birdy, communicated openly and was very helpful in supporting when I had two instances of professionals needing to come to the house for work whilst I was away (fence rebuild and an inspection). Came back to a very clean and tidy home and happy & healthy animals! ******************** Reg was always reliable and available and took special note of what Thor my dog needs even how to take care of my pool. I would use him again. ******************** Reg did a phenomenal job. He has a very gentle way of speaking and his energy is very calming. I have two feral cats that I worked into being house pets. Both Willow and Sherman exceped his presence. I received updates and pictures, I was very excited to get those. When back, my camper was spotless and everything was put back into place. I gave him a big hug and told him how happy I was that he was able to sit for me. And what a wonderful job he did. I highly recommend Reg! 😊 ******************** Reg was an outstanding sitter!!! He is always a blessing. Responsible, responsive, neat and self sufficient. He is highly recommended! ******************** Reg was amazing. He stepped in in a difficult situation, our previous pet sitter turned out to be a drinker and left a mess. We did hire some cleaners, but it was stressful and Reg was wonderful and helped us navigate the transition. Our cat had a serious worsening of a health issue and Reg learned how to give him IV fluids and took great care of him. He was kind and organized and easy to work with. We had a wonderful experience with him. ******************** Reg arrived on time before I left so I could go over a few last minute details. He’s a repeat sitter so there was little to cover and I leave a very comprehensive file covering info on the house and pets. Communication while I was away was, as usual, excellent. The cats accepted him almost immediately. Reg left just after New Year. I had another sitter coming in the same day. He did the laundry and remade the bed, leaving the house clean and tidy for the next sitter, who reported no issues with the house at all. Completely seamless switch over! The second sitter is also a repeat, so despite my long absence and the fact I’m missing my pets, my mind is at ease knowing everything has been running smoothly since I left. Thank you again, Reg! If you’re not bored with Auburndale, you’re welcome back anytime! A sitter I highly recommend! ******************** Reg was super patient with us. The day of his arrival we had to make a decision and let Piper cat go forever. I felt comfortable to leave Luna with him and he took her out and about to all new places to her and entertained her well. I received updates daily. Reg had to deal with a not-draining shower and the golf cart that ran out of power. He was quick to communicate and handled everything very well. He seemed very well grounded and calm. I would have Reg back to watch my Luna dog. Thank you for your care and the goodies! ******************** This is the second time Reg has looked after my cat, Kenya, and my house for over a month. He sent regular updates with lots of photos of Kenya who was obviously very relaxed. I came home to a house cleaner than I left it, and he even left some food for me in the fridge! Great communication leading up to the sit and I received regular pictures of my cats while he was here - it was great to see they were playing and receiving great care while I was gone. He left my house tidy and clean, everything washed, mail in a pile on the counter, and trash taken out. I would definitely have Reg back if it worked out in the future. ******************** Reg understood the complexities and details required to care for my two rescue horses, three rescue pups, cat and two hens. He reviewed my detailed instruction sheets, asked for any clarification so as to handle everything in the way they are used to, from feeding to taking them out to barn work. Reliable and trustworthy. I was across the world for 2.5 weeks and away from my 2 cats for the longest period so far. I came to home two very happy kitties and very clean apt. Reg was very communicative from the start of our correspondence and throughout his stay. I got an email almost every day of my cats being playful and relaxing in sunny spots. He was very self sufficient and I hope got the most of his stay in my neighborhood of San Francisco. If Reg applies to your listing, pick him! My house, dogs, plants, farm animals…. Were all in impeccable condition when we returned home. He was just an all around blessing for us. We needed a reset and he made sure we got it. He sent pictures occasionally of our fur babies just lazing around which reassured us that they were comfortable. Let me also mention what an intelligent man Reggie is. He can participate smartly in any conversation which impressed us both. Reggie is on speed dial for future sits but he is welcome anytime in our home. I was gone for a month and returned to a very contented cat, obviously very happy with her sitter, and a house exactly as I’d left it. He kept me up-to-date with my cat, Kenya, by sending weekly reports and photos. They obviously got along well and he took a lot of the worry away from me being gone for over a month. I hope eventually to have a decent watering system set up, but Reg was very forgiving of the projects I hadn't quite finished before I left. He managed without a dryer for the first 2-3 weeks without complaint and I came home to a contented happy cat, a clean house and even a dish of burritos. He was very communicative, responsible and focused on doing everything as I requested. He took excellent care of my cat, plants and home.. It worked out to spend a companionable evening together at the start, walking the neighborhood and letting Iris get to know Reg. Communication with Reg before, during and after was great! He sat for almost 3 weeks, during which he sent me tons of pictures of Iris out in nature having an absolute blast. And I came home to an immaculate house where I found so many little details that showed special care and attention. Including fresh milk and home made dinner in the fridge! Given it was peak growing season and a really hot spell Reg mowed the lawn watered the garden/yard when needed, and kept the bird feeder and hummer feedings well supplied. You can't do better than to have this sitter. 5 plus stars!!! ******************** Reg was a wonderful house sitter. he arrived a bit early, which gave me time to show him the house and routines with the cats. While I was away he sent photos and texted regulaer updates. He not only took good care of the cats, he watered plants, and left the house as tidy as he found it. I would recommend him for any pets. ******************** Reg was not only a great housesitter for the week I was away, but he was a most enjoyable houseguest for the 5 or 6 days prior to my departure. The two cats took to him immediately and were especially mellow when I returned. He left the house at least as clean and tidy as I had left it for him. He even left some wonderful surprises in the kitchen for my return. It turns out he is a wonderful cook. I can highly recommend him, as can the cats. ******************** Reg was a great fit for us. We were gone for 18 days and he sent us pictures of walks with our dog, and communicated about the house as well...he left the house cleaner than we left it! I messed up on my listing dates and lost my planned dog sitter. I reposted at the last minute and Reg applied and came through in a big way for me. He was so very accommodating - flew in right on the day I was departing, early enough so I could show him around the house and share the dog routines with him. While I was away he took fabulous care of the dogs, the house, the plants - everything. I returned to a house that was even cleaner than I left it/keep it and I think I do a pretty good job of keeping the house tidy and clean. Reg took the dogs for really long walks every day. I have never seen my dogs tired from walking...Reg was actually able to wear them out from walking as their walks were so very long, impressive! I can't recommend Reg highly enough. He was a pleasure to communicate with before and during the stay. He took such fabulous care of my dogs and my house. Highly recommend! ******************** Reg was our first single guy to sit for us. We were taking a chance because he'd never had a sit before. We were so pleasantly surprised at how extremely well he took care of our home, it's contents, our pets and my indoor plants. We liked him so well, that we have booked him again for late May.
