We have over eight years of experience caring for cats, including raising three of our own cats since they were kittens. Living with them every day has given us a deep understanding of feline routines, behavior, and emotional needs. We are comfortable caring for shy or anxious cats, senior cats, and cats who need extra time to adjust. We pay close attention to small changes in behavior and know when to give space and when gentle interaction is helpful. Our experience has taught us that good cat care is built on patience, consistency, and respect, helping cats feel safe and settle in comfortably during their stay.

We are The Cat Room New York, a boutique, professional cat boarding experience created by people who genuinely love and understand cats. With over eight years of hands-on experience caring for cats, we believe good care comes from patience, observation, and respect for each cat’s individual personality. To us, cats are family, and we care for them with the same attention and responsibility we give our own. Our home is quiet and thoughtfully prepared for feline comfort. We currently live with three lovely resident cats, all friendly, well-adjusted, and accustomed to a calm shared environment. Their presence often helps new cats feel more secure and settled when adjusting to a new space. Each visiting cat stays in their own spacious, private suite. These custom-built suites are well-ventilated, uniquely designed, and intentionally not cages — offering every cat a personal space to rest, observe, and relax at their own pace. We intentionally limit the number of cats we host to ensure attentive care, cleanliness, and a peaceful daily rhythm. Our goal is simple: while you’re away, your cat continues to live comfortably and calmly, and you can have peace of mind knowing they are cared for with experience, patience, and genuine love.
