Vennice D.'s Experience

I grew up with a crazy cat lady so cats were always in the picture. At the age of 12 I began helping my cousin with boarding, fostering and pet sitting. My cousin had been volunteering and fostering from a young age. After years of hard work she became certified and opened up her own boarding business. Because of this I was able to gain years of experience. I began at the age of 12 cat sitting her 3 elderly cats. One of her cats specifically has epilepsy. In order to prevent seizures I had to learn how to give oral medication. In addition, I would play, feed, brush and clean up their environment to ensure sanitary conditions. On top of cat sitting just the 3 of them. Some times another one of her clients cats or even a foster situation would be involved. So I would be engaged in also assisting with the care of other animals. While cat care was a huge role. I also have experience with dogs. She would have a lot of dog clients. I would walk, feed, play, entertain, etc. Sometimes puppies or adult dogs. I would do overnights a lot as well as check ins, short or long. Lots of photo updates and consistent communication. And on occasion I would assist in doing overnights at some of her clients homes with permission form them of course!

A typical day

I can assure you that your pets day with me would be filled with enrichment, playtime, walks, relaxation, hydration, plenty of potty breaks, brushing if needed a full belly, and a safe sanitary environment.
