In my seven years of experience caring for pets I’ve always had a soft spot for animals and the way they each have such big personalities of their own. I love that you can spend a little time with a pet and start noticing all their funny little habits, favorite things, and ways of communicating. I’m naturally very gentle and patient with animals. I don’t expect every pet to immediately run up to me and become my best friend I’m happy to let them warm up to me at their own pace. And once they do? I’m absolutely going to be their new buddy. I really enjoy the simple parts of caring for pets going on walks, playing, giving them attention, keeping them company, and making sure they feel comfortable and cared for. I think animals deserve to feel safe and loved even when their favorite person isn’t home. To me, pet care isn’t just about completing a walk or filling a food bowl. It’s about building trust with an animal and making sure they have a happy, comfortable day.
