Since I work with pets seven days a week, I’ve gained experience with a wide range of animals and personalities. I regularly care for senior pets, puppies, highly reactive dogs, and more anxious or sensitive dogs. I also have a cat at home, so I’m very comfortable working with cats as well. One of the biggest things I focus on is reading body language. Over time, I’ve learned how to pick up on the subtle ways animals communicate, which helps me respond appropriately and keep them feeling safe, understood, and comfortable.

Un día típico

I run my own pet care business, so my days are spent working with a variety of animals and going on lots of walks. I do my best to stay flexible and plan my schedule around each pet’s individual needs. Every visit is a little different since each animal has their own personality and routine. That said, I like to keep walks fairly structured so they’re enjoyable, while still staying safe and comfortable for everyone. Safety is always a top priority for me. I stay fully present during walks—no phone use unless I’m taking a quick photo—so I can stay aware of our surroundings at all times. I also secure leashes to my hip to prevent any accidents and make sure your pet is always safe.
