I’ve always loved animals since I was little. I actually always wanted to be a Veterinarian but my education has led me in becoming an RN for 16 years. I just graduated as a psychiatric NP, looking for a fellowship and thought why not do this on the side until the fellowship starts. I’d love to put some hours in even working full time even it’s just a little . I have experience with owning pets of my own. I’ve also watched my friends dogs often when they were away or for certain occasions. Many years ago I worked in a dog hotel for 2 years which was a fun experience. This is where I gained a lot of knowledge in dog’s personalities and understanding the different breeds while taking care of them . I grew up with 3 Golden Retrievers at all different ages of my life , and couldnt imagine growing up without them. To me, I feel like life is complete having a dog. My best friend has 2 fur baby cats who I check in on & stay with when she’s away. I put their picture up too. I often care for the pets of family, friends, and neighbors. I have cared for animals for more than 10 years.

Does your pet have any allergies or health issues? How does your pet get along with other animals? What does your pet like and dislike? Does your pet take any medication? Is there anything your pet is afraid of? What and when does your pet eat? How is your pet with strangers and children?

Un día típico

Typically, what a day with me would look like really depends on what the daily routine you prefer or works best for them when they are home with you ! For some dogs, its hard at first for them to separate , especially with someone new but I can assure you they will warm up pretty fast with me :) My priority is to really just make them feel as comfortable and happy as possible! If they have a ton of energy, i’m all about that ,we can play hide n seek or run around the place if they cannot sit still. ( safely, of course ) I have no stairs and no other pets at the moment so all of my attention goes to your fur baby at all times. If your pet is more on the timid side and are more quiet, if they prefer to have their own space I have an open den room where I can see them at all times with a comfortable large sized couch bed where they can rest/ sleep if they they prefer to be alone at any time. The door to my room would always stay open of course if they wanted to come in at any time !
