That’s a great detail to include. I’d phrase it so it sounds confident without sounding like you’re promising every terrified cat will magically love you:) I’ve had a lifetime full of pets: dogs, cats, birds, rabbits, gerbils, and probably a few others I’m forgetting. I love animals in general, but these days I’m focusing on cats. I’m reliable, patient, and I actually spend time with them. I’ve even been known to win over some of the most skittish cats, mostly by letting them decide the timeline. I also love enrichment, whether that’s wand toys, puzzle play, window watching, YouTube “cat TV,” or tablet games if that’s their thing. I’ll play, hang out, give them attention, or respectfully back off when they’ve decided I’ve done enough. I treat every cat like I’d want someone to treat my own: cared for, comfortable, entertained, and appropriately spoiled.
