I have several years of hands-on experience caring for dogs and cats of all ages, sizes, breeds and personalities. I have also cared for various reptiles and small animals such as rabbits, birds, snakes and fish, in addition to farm animals such as goats, sheep, chickens and ducks. My experience includes puppy and kitten care, senior pet care, administering medications, reinforcing training and adapting to each pet’s unique needs and temperament. I’m especially comfortable with high-energy dogs, working breeds and pets who benefit from structure, enrichment and consistency. I also have experience caring for shy, anxious and senior pets who may need a calmer and more patient approach. I prioritize creating a safe, low-stress environment where pets feel secure, understood and well cared for. In addition to daily care routines, I have pet first aid knowledge and strong attention to detail when it comes to safety, behavior and communication. I believe every pet deserves individualized care, and I work hard to maintain their routines, provide plenty of affection and enrichment, and keep pet parents updated with regular messages and photos throughout their stay.

Before a booking, I’d love to learn about your pet’s daily routine, personality, energy level, medical needs, triggers, and any preferences that help them feel most comfortable and safe. I also like to know about feeding schedules, potty routines, training cues, allergies, medications, socialization with other animals/people, and any favorite toys, activities or comfort items. My goal is to make your pet feel as stress-free and at-home as possible, so the more I know about their normal routine and behavior, the better I can tailor their care!

A typical day

A typical day for me is built around keeping pets happy, comfortable, active and loved while their owners are away. I start mornings with potty breaks, breakfast routines and some one-on-one attention to help everyone settle into the day. During the day, I balance exercise, enrichment, playtime and relaxation depending on each pet’s needs and personality. Some pups love long walks and games of fetch, while others prefer sunbathing, snuggles or quiet companionship. I adjust care to what makes them feel safest and happiest. I also believe communication is important, so I send regular photo/video and text updates throughout the stay. My goal is always to make pets feel as at-home and stress free as possible by sticking closely to their normal routines and giving them lots of attention, patience and care.
