While I’m new to pet sitting professionally, I have years of hands-on experience caring for animals of my own and my friends pets. I’ve had dogs as part of my family and currently care for a cat and rabbits. I’ve also provided hands-on care when my rabbit became ill, nursing him back to health and working closely with my veterinarian throughout his recovery. Caring for animals has taught me to be attentive to their individual needs, recognize when something isn’t quite right, and provide plenty of patience, love, and reassurance and nursing type care.

What helps your pet feel comfortable when you’re away?
A typical day
I enjoy making each day with a pet feel comfortable, fun, and as close to their normal routine as possible. I’ll spend time getting to know their personality and needs, whether that means taking a long walk, playing, giving them plenty of affection, or simply keeping them company. I’m happy to follow their usual feeding, potty, medication, and daily routines so they feel safe and comfortable while you’re away. Most importantly, I want every pet in my care to feel loved, well cared for, and never lonely.
