Cheri V.'s Experience

🐾 Exceptional & Trusted Pet Care 🐾 Animals have always been my greatest passion and purpose. For almost two decades, I’ve been providing exceptional, personalized pet care, dedicating my life to improving animal welfare and making a difference in the lives of pets and the people who love them. I am the owner and operator of Fur The Love Of Pets, offering professional pet care in a loving home environment. I accept pets of all kinds and love my time spent with each and every one of them. They’re all their own unique individual and I believe that should be celebrated. My experience extends far beyond traditional pet sitting. I’m well established in the rescue community and have worked alongside numerous rescues, assisting with TNR programs, foster care, unhoused pets & pet parent assistance, rehoming and placement assistance, behavioral and physical rehabilitation, feral cat adoption & rehabilitation. Wildlife rescue and rehabilitation, Throughout the years, I’ve cared for animals of all kinds, including dogs and cats of every breed, size, age, personality, and temperament. I have extensive experience with puppies, seniors, special-needs pets, medical conditions, behavioral challenges, anxiety, fearful and reactive animals, and pets who require extra patience, understanding, and specialized attention. My experience also includes birds, small animals, wildlife, bottle babies, hospice and end-of-life care, and animals who need a little extra love to feel safe and comfortable. 🤍 100% Supervised. Never Left Alone. Your pet’s safety, comfort, and emotional well-being are my highest priorities. Pets in my care are supervised 100% of the time throughout their stay or booking. They are never left alone. I understand that trusting someone with your beloved family member is a big deal, and I take that responsibility seriously. 🏡 Your Pet’s Routine Is My Routine. I believe exceptional pet care means honoring each pet’s individual needs and maintaining the comforts of home. I follow pet parents’ instructions down to the smallest detail, from feeding schedules, medications, and potty breaks to favorite activities, sleeping arrangements, and bedtime rituals. Whatever your pet’s routine looks like at home when you’re there, that’s the routine I strive to recreate while they’re with me. I want them to feel secure, loved, and as comfortable as possible—not as though their entire world has suddenly changed. 🛏️ Kennel-Free, Comfort-First Care. My care is kennel-free unless otherwise requested. Dogs are welcome to sleep wherever they normally sleep at home. If your little one sleeps in your bed, they can sleep in my bed, too! If they prefer their own bed, a cozy blanket, or their favorite sleeping spot, I’m happy to accommodate them. My goal is to make their stay feel like a home away from home. 💕 Personalized Care, Unmatched Flexibility. One of the most rewarding parts of what I do is seeing how excited my furry clients get when they see me. That excitement, trust, and genuine bond are why I love this work so much. I pride myself on my flexibility, attention to detail, and willingness to accommodate my clients. Every pet and every family is different, and I believe their care should reflect that. I offer premium, specialized services tailored to your pet’s unique needs, your preferences, and your expectations. Want your dog to have one-on-one attention with no other dogs present? If you book exclusive, single-dog care, your dog will be the only dog in my care for the duration of the booking. No competing for attention, no additional dogs sharing the experience—just individualized care centered entirely around your companion. Whether your pet needs extra cuddles, structured routines, medication administration, senior care, specialized handling, behavioral understanding, or simply someone who will love them and treat them like family, I’m committed to providing the highest standard of personalized care. From the tiniest bottle baby to the most energetic puppy, from shy rescue animals to beloved seniors with complex needs, I welcome the opportunity to care for them with patience, compassion, knowledge, and respect. 🐾 Professional pet care in a loving home environment. Almost two decades of experience. A lifetime of compassion. Individualized care, unwavering attention, and a whole lot of love. Because your pets aren’t just pets—they’re family. And they deserve nothing less than exceptional care. 🤍

A typical day

I tailor every visit to your pet’s unique personality, routine, and comfort level. Some babies want walks and playtime, others prefer cuddles and company, and some just need a little extra patience to feel comfortable with someone new. I take the time to get to know each pet and make sure they receive the kind of care they’re used to at home. With 20 years of animal care experience, including rescue work and caring for pets of all ages, sizes, and temperaments, I’m comfortable with everything from young puppies and kittens to seniors and pets with special needs or behavioral challenges. I’m a lifelong cat mom myself, and caring for animals has always been something that comes naturally to me. My experience goes beyond everyday pet care and includes animal rescue, rehabilitation, and sea lion training, which has helped me better understand animal body language and behavioral cues. I’ve cared for vulnerable animals, newborns, seniors, and pets requiring specialized or hospice care. I believe in looking beyond a behavior to understand what an animal may be communicating, and I approach each one with patience, compassion, and respect. I follow your pet’s usual routine as closely as possible, whether that means meals, walks, potty breaks, playtime, medication as agreed upon, or simply keeping them company. I pay attention to the little things, too, because I know how important it is to notice when something seems different. I want your pets to feel safe, loved, and comfortable with me, not just looked after. I also want you to feel at ease knowing they’re getting personal attention and genuine care while you’re away. I’ll treat your babies with the same patience and consideration I’d want someone to give my own. Every pet is different, and getting to know them is one of my favorite parts of what I do. ❤️
