I’ve been fortunate to care for a wide variety of animals throughout my life, including dogs, cats, fish, lizards, and even a snake. While I wouldn’t consider myself a specialist in any one area, I have played an active role in the daily care, training, and well-being of each of my pets. In addition to caring for my own animals, I also have experience with horses, including riding, grooming, feeding, and general stable management. Working with such a diverse range of animals has taught me the importance of patience, consistency, and adapting to each animal’s unique personality and needs.
What is your pet’s daily routine, including feeding times, exercise, and bedtime? ● Does your pet have any medical conditions, allergies, or medications that need to be administered? ● Are there any behavioral quirks, fears, triggers, or training cues I should know about? ● How does your pet interact with other animals, strangers, or children? ● What are your pet’s favorite activities, toys, treats, and comfort items? ● Who is your veterinarian, and what should I do in case of an emergency? ● Are there any household rules or restrictions I should follow regarding your pet? ● What is the best way to contact you while you’re away, and is there an emergency contact available if needed?
My day usually starts with a morning walk with your dog, giving them time to get outside, stretch, and settle into a steady routine for the day. After the walk, I handle feeding according to your instructions and make sure fresh water is available, then spend time with your dog based on their energy level—this might include light play, short training reinforcement, or calm indoor time. Throughout the middle of the day, I focus on maintaining a balanced rhythm that keeps your dog comfortable and engaged. This can include another walk, potty breaks as needed, and either outdoor time or relaxed enrichment activities depending on what suits your dog best. I follow your care instructions closely and stay attentive to any changes in behavior, comfort, or needs. In the evening, I provide a final walk to help your dog wind down, followed by dinner and a calm period to encourage relaxation. My goal is to maintain a consistent, low-stress routine that supports your dog’s wellbeing and keeps them feeling secure and cared for throughout the entire day.
