I’ve always loved being around animals and genuinely enjoy getting to know each pet’s personality. Through pet sitting, I’ve had the opportunity to care for dogs and puppies with different needs, personalities, and routines. I understand that every pet is different. Some are energetic and love going on walks and playing, while others are more comfortable with cuddles, attention, and relaxing in their own space. I take the time to learn what makes each pet comfortable and make sure they receive the care and attention they’re used to. I also understand how important it is for pet parents to feel comfortable leaving their babies in someone else’s care. My goal is to treat every pet like they’re my own, keep their routine as consistent as possible, and keep their parents updated while they’re away. 🐾❤️

A typical day

🐾 A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A PET SITTER Ever wonder what my days look like when I’m caring for your babies? Here’s a little peek! 🐶🐱💕 🌅 Morning: My day usually starts with checking in on my pet-sitting schedule and getting ready for the day’s visits. Then it’s off to see my first furry clients! Morning visits mean potty breaks, fresh water, breakfast when needed, medications if provided, and plenty of love and attention. 🥰 ☀️ Midday: The day is usually filled with drop-ins, walks, playtime, feeding, cleaning up little messes, and making sure everyone is happy and comfortable. I also send updates and pictures to pet parents because I know how much it means to see your babies while you’re away! 📸🐾 🏡 Afternoon: I continue making my rounds, checking on overnight clients and making sure every pet gets the individual care they need. Some want to play, some want a walk, and some just want to curl up next to me for a while. ❤️ 🌙 Evening: Evenings are for dinner, another round of potty breaks, walks, cuddles, and settling everyone in for the night. For overnight stays, I make sure your pets have everything they need and feel safe and comfortable in their own home. 💻 In between visits: There’s also the behind-the-scenes work—answering messages, organizing schedules, communicating with pet parents, preparing for upcoming bookings, and making sure everything runs smoothly. And honestly? It may be a busy day, but getting to spend it with your babies makes it all worth it. 🥹🐾 Thank you to every pet parent who trusts South Texas Pet Care with their furry family members.
