Summer rorrer's Experience

I have extensive hands-on experience with a wide range of animals, gained through over four years of working at Pet Supplies Plus, where I spent my last two years as a Shift Leader. During that time, I cared for and handled dogs of all sizes and breeds, cats, hamsters and other small animals, ferrets, chinchillas, birds, and reptiles. My experience includes feeding, habitat maintenance, basic behavior handling, and ensuring the overall well-being of each animal. I also have personal experience caring for my own 5-year-old bearded dragon, giving me strong familiarity with specialized reptile needs such as heating, diet, and habitat setup.

I’m Summer Rorrer, a 20-year-old animal lover with a bachelor’s degree in psychology and over four years of hands-on experience at Pet Supplies Plus, where I spent my last two years as a Shift Leader. I have extensive experience with dogs of all sizes, cats, hamsters and small animals, ferrets, chinchillas, birds, and reptiles, and I also own a 5-year-old bearded dragon, so I’m very comfortable with specialized reptile care. With my calm, patient approach and background in psychology and animal behavior, I treat every pet like my own and strive to make them feel safe, understood, and well cared for while you’re away.
