Along with being a full-time college softball player and working a part-time job, I also have experience caring for dogs. I regularly help take care of my mom's coworkers' dogs, giving me hands-on experience with different breeds and personalities. As a dog owner myself, I understand the importance of providing proper care, including feeding, exercise, playtime, and making sure dogs are happy, healthy, and safe. I also have basic knowledge of dog training and reinforcing good behaviors. Before booking with a pet owner, I like to ask a few important questions to make sure I can provide the best care possible for their dog. I ask about their dog's age, breed, personality, daily routine, feeding schedule, exercise needs, medications, allergies, and any medical conditions. I also like to know if they're friendly with people, children, or other dogs, whether they're crate or potty trained, what commands they know, and if there are any behaviors or fears I should be aware of. I ask about their veterinarian and emergency contact information, any special care instructions, and what supplies they'll be providing, such as food, treats, a leash, toys, or medications. I also discuss drop-off and pick-up times, how often they'd like updates, and any other preferences they have for their dog's care, etc.

A typical day

I'm currently entering my second year of junior college, where I play collegiate softball while balancing school, practices, and a part-time job. I'm hardworking, responsible, and always looking for ways to stay busy. I'm simply looking to make some extra money to help cover expenses and save for the future while continuing to pursue my education and athletic goals.
